Last September, we asked “Is your furnace a Furnacesaurus?” We searched from September to February to find the oldest furnace in our service area. We looked at some real dinosaurs of heating systems and were amazed at some of the old furnaces we saw. Some of the furnaces survived not only the flood last  September, but even made it through Agnes in 1972.

Congratulations to Bill and Vicki Garrison of Palmyra, who won our Furnacesaurus contest! Mr. Garrison (right), pictured above with G.F. Bowman sales representative Bob Berkhimer (left), stands in front of his winning furnace, a 60-year-old York oil furnace.

Bill and Vicki Garrison’s 60-year-old furnace, pictured left, was G.F. Bowman’s winning “Furnacesaurus.” The York oil furnace has been heating the Garrisons’ home in Palmyra since 1952.

G.F. Bowman will replace the Garrisons’ 1952 furnacesaurus with a new Carrier oil furnace. Thanks to all of our customers who entered!
