| The New Look of G.F. Bowman If you’ve driven by one of the new G.F. Bowman trucks in the past few weeks, you might have thought your eyes were playing tricks on you. “We thought we would do something dramatic to get people’s attention,” said Brad Bowman. Dramatic is certainly a good way to describe it. The new G.F. Bowman trucks aren’t just one color anymore—they’re covered in reds, blues, pinks, purples and yellows that are sure to make your eyes pop. The new G.F. Bowman trucks have been “wrapped,” or covered in large vinyl decals that display messages or pictures—almost like a moving billboard. Vehicle wrapping can be a lengthy process and the design must be carefully considered so that businesses get the most out of their investment. The wrapping of the vehicles themselves can take days, as wrap installers must be careful that they do not leave bubbles or creases under the wrap. If applied and removed correctly, the wrap will not damage the exterior of the vehicle. The colorful design on the outside isn’t the only thing that’s new to G.F. Bowman vehicles. Earlier this year, the company purchased three new trucks in an effort to “go green.” These new additions to the G.F. Bowman fleet are more gas-efficient than the older trucks, reducing the company’s carbon footprint. Three service technicians and one installation technician will have their trucks wrapped by the end of the year.
